The Department of Finance consulted on options to address discrimination identified by the Courts in the transitional arrangements which were part of the 2015 reform of public service pension schemes.

Consultation description
This consultation sets out the proposals to remedy discrimination since 1 April 2015 for affected members and ensure its removal for the future.
The scope of the schemes covered by this consultation can be found on page 2 and page 9 of the document itself. The consultation begins on 19 August 2020 and will close on 18 November 2020.
