Valuation Lists
Non domestic Net Annual Value (NAV) List
Non domestic property in Northern Ireland is assessed on the basis of its rental value known as the Net Annual Value (NAV). The NAV of your business property will determine the amount of rates you will have to pay.
You can use the links below to find the NAV of any non domestic property in Northern Ireland or to make an online application to have your property valuation revalued if it has been altered or if you think the valuation is wrong.
The Non domestic Valuation List on a map allows the user to look at the breakdown of the NAV. The breakdown gives the size, use and valuation for each separately valued part of a property, eg Ground Floor Office 55m2 @ £100/m2 = £5,500. The breakdown is currently only available for shops, offices, factories, warehouses and stores.
If you use the first link to the Non domestic valuation list, you can search for your property by postcode, via the map or by using the advanced search option. This will bring up the address and valuation of the property. Once you find your property you can use this service to apply for a valuation review.
More information on valuing new or existing property and how to appeal your valuation is available on the nibusinessinfo website.
